It all started when...

The bride realized she hadn't had her eyebrows waxed and I was asked if I could shape her brows...on her wedding day.

Once during a makeup trial, I noticed lots of vellus (baby facial) hair on the face of the bride-to-be. I inquired if she was getting a facial to prep her skin to look its best for the wedding...crickets. "No, I hadn't thought about that. Do you do facials?"

Another great opportunity was when a bride wanted to offer her future husband a boudoir photo as a gift, but she had never had a Brazilian wax before and was nervous about who to trust.

Listening to my clients made me realize that they felt comfortable talking with me about questions they had regarding various aesthetic services. They also wanted a safe and cozy environment where they could do their "one stop shopping" with the same person they trusted, in preparation for their special day.

Thus, Urbaine Oasis Spa Boutique was born from DMC Makeup Artistry.
